Paris

I’ve been to Paris a few times now, the first visit in 2010. Spencer had an opportunity to collaborate at Ecole Polytechnique (just outside Paris) for 2 months this last spring and I was thrilled about it. We got to hang out with friends who live there and visited, meet new friends, host family, visit sites, and EAT. April and May involved a lot of social time and I was so for it. I made a list of places to go for my brothers and their wives and figured I’d also start my travel posts with this already curated example. Get some Paris recs!

Geneva

Well, we’ve lived here for 3 years. It changed a lot in that time, and for the better! In particular, there is more diversity in the restaurant scene. I get chastised a lot about how much I complain about Geneva when people come to visit and they see how pretty and fun Geneva can be— well, it is for a visit! And with some effort, it’s fun to live here, too.

Santa Rosa

Including this one as my third for nostalgic reasons. My dad moved out of Santa Rosa and out of the main house I grew up in. There officially are no more Mullaneys in SR! With no scheduled holiday visits back, I’m not sure when I’ll return. Here’s a round up of places I loved to visit and eat at.
